Happy Janmasthmi

Janmashtami is a Hindu festival that celebrates the birth of Lord Krishna. After keeping a vigil fast for the entire day, Hindus gather for the birth of Krishna at midnight and at the same time, they bring an end to their day long fast. A variety of sweets is offered to the Lord, and this is then distributed as prasadam to the devotees present.
